Now that is cool. Accommodating others beyond ADA compliance.

We were just in Berlin, OH where the county is 70% Amish and most places have buggy parking, Troyer's Grocery has spots for at least 40 buggies and are the predominate shoppers inside. Man I love that place.

A Wal-Mart in Millersburg, OH (in the middle of Ohio Amish country) has a group of horse sheds where the Amish can park their horses and buggies under cover during inclement weather.

Those Amish propulsion units frequently empty their holding tanks in the parking lot, on the road, etc.

Isn't that the natural way of life? No Chemicals in that Holding Tank

Empty your holding tanks on the road or parking lot and see what happens.

Discrimination?

IN most states emptying YOUR PERSONAL holding tanks in public will get you added to the "Sex Offenders" list....

And THAT list carries so much stigma it is amazing...

But if Walmart doesn't care, why should we be so concerned as long as egress and ingress of their customers and/or their vendors isn't compromised. Has anyone ever been told by a Walmart employee, manager, security, etc., that they don't want slides and awnings?

I've only stayed in a Walmart once and that was in Anchorage, AK about 8 years ago. Almost everyone there had at least one slide out and many had their generators running. I didn't see any awnings out though.
I try to keep a low profile at WM. Very grateful for a place to stop and rest.

If your in Key West, boondocking is tough. But otherwise, you can park
at Walmart's, Cracker Barrel restaurants, motel parking lots, rest
stops, churches, casinos, shopping centers, ski resorts, RV dealers,
trucks stops, etc.

I like the motels best for quiet. Just make sure they are far from the
fwy noise.

Even the rest stops that say 'no overnight parking' and have guards
are not a big deal. Just ask the guard if it is OK to get some sleep
for a few hours. Only problem I had was a guard told me in Fla 'no
deploying', as in no push out rooms or in my case no popping up my
little Aliner.

Knew one boondocker that used to put a 'for sale' sign in the window
when he parked it on the street.

One boondocker I came across was parked at a Walmart
in NC. Had a tent pop up all deployed and had a giant sea kayak on his
car roof. Can you imaging a tent camper with all the extensions out,
all the lights on in his screened see through rooms at a Walmart
parking lot....

Gotta Love WallYWorld

WOOOOOO HOOOOOO
I am no longer a Walmart virgin. We left Belleville (St. Louis) for Sturgis and stayed at the Walmart in Sioux City IA. There were 4 or 5 other Walcampers. The next night we stayed at Rapid City. We got there late. There were 30 or more Walcampers. We spent the night and got up and went to the RV park where we are spending the week. After going to Mt. Rushmore, we went back to the same WM to buy more stuff (always more stuff). There were as many if not more RVs. I'm hooked. Instead of an RV, I think I now have a WRV. Ya gotta love it.

That's like roses to this ex-country boy!! Especially when compared to the ducks, chickens, cows, pigs and sheep I had to clean up after....

Here we are parked at the Lethbridge Alberta Walmart, there were at least 10 other RVs there. this is a very convenient place to stop.
