I want to change my living space from a sleeper couch to 2 recliners, the opposing love seat to a home entertainment center and the oval tabled dining area to a booth dinette.

Any suggestions or recommendations?

Cannot justify spending $200,000+ cash plus the motorhome and I would still have to make these changes. I estimate that for less than $20,000 I could get what I want plus all new electronics.

Look up "From trees to these" using google. They do very good work.
Stopped there while in Decatur to have wood/louvered vent covers installed in our Revolution.

Without pictures, I found it hard to envision, so I went on line and found a 2007 Newmar Essex 4508 for sale with some reasonable pictures. Very nice looking unit and I think your idea has merit based on what I could see. If you are otherwise happy with your RV, and especially if you have it paid for, or the balance paid down, my question would be why not remodel. IMHO, two to three thousand is a lot of money, but insignificant based upon the original cost of the your unit or what it would cost you to replace it with a built to suit unit.

My wife and I are full timers and we spent the month of July in Elkhart having a remodel done. We pulled out all the flooring which was a mix of carpet and porcelain tile and replaced with Mannington Adura. We pulled out a "jack-knife" sofa and replaced with a custom cherry credenza with fireplace. we replaced the J-sofa with a sleeper sofa with air mattress. We replaced the Norcolk 1200 with a french door residential frig.

We are completely happy with our changes and wish we had done it sooner.

This was all done by Master Tech RV in Elkhart, In and we recommend them without any reservations. They were very professional, friendly and accommodating. We stayed in our coach most nights (3 nights in a motel). During the month we spend there, we talked to a lot of their customers coming and going and we never talked to anyone who was not very happy with the job they did. If you are interested call Jack Harris @ 574-320-0163 or 866-895-4556. Tell Jack you are on a forum with Steve Ownby and you would like Kevin & Joe to work on your coach. You won't be disappointed.

Wow steve that is great info. Elkhart is very close to us, easy enough to drive the coach down and leave it. I'm gonna check to see if they have a website. Dreaming of having the carpet replaced.....

DW and I are in the process now renovating our 42ft Tradition ourselves. Got rid of the 82inch sofa and replaced with two Lazy Boy recliners. Also upgraded all the back splashes behind three sinks. Changing out the day-nite string shades with the MCD(should be here this week). While the shades are being changed, we are recovering all the valances while they are down. We have done a few of our coach's in the past and enjoy doing it all ourselves. It is your coach, make it fit you!

YUP,, it is your coach and you get to do what you want with it so go ahead. I pulled out the rug and replaced with tile and pulled out the dining benches and replaced with a recliner and table. I am thinking of pulling out the jack-knife couch and replacing it with a better couch or love seat. What ever makes me happy Right ?

We removed our sleeper sofa and replaced it with leather reclining loveseat, piece of cake to swap out! We already had the loveseat in our home office, so we didn't have to purchase a new sofa.

I realize this is a bit of a drive, but look at Custom RV Remodeling & Repair @ Truline RV of Spokane WA; they did our residential refrigerator conversion and we recommend them without reservation. They are replacing our flooring next year.

Your current furniture is Villa International. They can do exactly what you want and match your existing. They are very good. The are in Elkhart and Cerritos, CA. I have been to their CA location and am impressed with them.
