Warning light problem

We have a 2013 Newmar Dutch Star. We were driving home from Colorado last week. We drove in the rain for about 10 hours. about 8 hours into the trip a warning light on the dash came on telling me that the parking brake was engaged. This caused the entry door to unlock. The light then went of, causing the door to lock. This went on over and over and over again for the next two hours. I had hoped it was a sensor that got wet and malfunctioned. When it dried up the next day the problem continued. Any one have this happen before?

Check for bad or loose ground connections on battery and chassis. You can call Newmar for assistance as they are very good at helping the consumer.

I've found that often it takes more than one day for electrical/electronic problems caused by moisture/water/rain to dry up enough to correct themselves.
