Water heater on 1997 Bounder

Can anyone advise on how to light off the water heater on my Bounder? Have turned LP gas on and flicked water heater switch, but nothing happens. Can I light water heater manually? If so, how to do so safely. Thank you.

Have you tried the water heater in both AC and propane modes? Have you tried lighting the stove to make sure the propane is working?

Are your batteries fully charged? Pretty much everything in your MH needs the batteries.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

Don't know what WH you have, but most LP WH's have a switch inside that when turned on will open the gas valve and start sparking to light the flame. Ours has a red light on the switch panel that comes on when the switch is turned on, then goes off when the WH lights.

Keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
