I want to get the Watts adjustable with gauge... But a 2 inch diameter sounds big...That is the only size I see that includes gauge...

I went to Lowes, web site and in person they only
had one regulator for $78. There web site shows other.
Went to Home Depot told young man what I needed
and I was out of there. I didn't know there was threads
in side of a regulator, so I was looking at out side threads
think darn how IM going to do this. Some know this I didn't

From worst to best I will list what I have used.

Standard RV regulators (Look like your high flo withough tthe bright plastic grip)

high Flow RV regulators (Like yours)

Neither of these had enough flow for a proper shower.

Sur-Flo in-line, this is identical to the "Built in" regulators in most RV.. it *Almost*, I mean *almost* gives me enough water for a good shower.

Watts, 3/4" "Whole House" type Regulator with hose adapters ... NICE

You can find 'em at Lowes, Home Depot, Mennards, some plumbing places and hardware stores however in some areas they may have to special ordered. I have seen a few Camping World where the manager knew the difference between the hole you dig with a shovel and the one you "Dig" with tissue and (Hint, you need a shovel to dig a hole in the ground) and had bought a case of 'em and poly bagged them complete with the needed hose adapters. However it is NOT a catalog item there, this was a "Manager's Item".

Did you add a pressure gauge to the Watts Whole House water pressure regulator?

Just a general comment about the watts regulators, you can get a watts regulaotr without a pressure gauge. Both ours, and a friends came without gauges, However both came with preset ranges of 25-75 psi, and were set at 50 psi. I tested both regulators and they were accurate at 50 psi. Just another piece of information.

Don,

Was at Camping World yesterday and they have a nice selection of water pressure regulators with gauges that look much like the Watts regulator. You might check them out, They may have what you're looking for.

A lot if restrictors have gauges . Don't be fooled. I know I was years ago until I learned the difference.

Friend of mine just got the Valterra...59 bucks online from CW...he likes it...dont know what he had before...he is down in FL in his Beaver Patriot Thunder...and discovered Niagara Falls coming out of his basement! A fitting broke...so he cleaned up the mess...repaired the fitting...and got a new pressure regulator :-)
