You may need a 90 degree fitting , I did. Also as I posted in #13 above , you may want to consider a high pressure drinking water safe hose.

I need to get a new water pressure regulator, have been using one of the cheap ones and really need some more flow. I was looking for info on the Valterra but I can't find out what the water flow is(GPM), does anyone know what the flow is rated at? Anyone have any positive feedback for the Valterra?
I was considering the Valterra or the Watts 263a, I know that the Watts 263a is rated @ 4-4.5GPM. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

So I called Valterra customer service and they stated that the GPM output for the Valterra A01-1117VP is 14-15 GPM, this seems very high, so I sent them an email and they sent the same response back to me. This seems too high, is this possible? The watts 263a is only rated @ 4-4.5 GPM, the Watts N55B is only rated @ 6-9 GPM.

I happen to have the Valterra in the garage. Just went and looked and nowhere on it are GPM listed. I don't have the packaging and don't remember if it is printed there or not. Not sure why you are concerned about GPM as the plumbing and adjustment are psi measures. The Valterra is adjustable for 16 - 65 psi and is preset to 45 psi. There is a paper tag on the back of it that says check the psi limit for your plumbing. Also on the CW website in the Q&A at the bottom - the GPM is listed as 15.

As for the other poster - yep you will probably need a 90 degree fitting.
Presumably we are referring to this Valterra
