Water pressure question

Why is the water pressure so low when I'm hooked up to city water?

Run the pump and great pressure.

Thanks

On your water connection there may be an in line pressure reducer that is affecting pressure. Also check to make sure the screen is not plugged, if you have one.

What size and how long is you hose. I use a 25ft 5/8 hose. My friend used a 50 ft 1/2 hose and had low pressure. He change to a 25 ft 5/8 hose and could tell the difference.

Lots of the threads on this topic over the last couple weeks. If you search the site you will get tons of reading.

Big culpurits:
Dirty/clogged screens
Bad pressure regulator
Bad check valve
Dirty/clogged filter

Connect each device one at a time and cHeck for adequate flow until you find the bad actor

Sometimes it's volume not pressure, some of the hose end regulators don't let much flow go thru.

Water Pressure

Ok. I placed a new 5/8" white water hose and a new inline water filter in place. Still not and good water pressure or volume.
I took the kitchen sink faucet apart and it is corroded badly. My guess would be the other two faucets and maybe even the toilet inlets are all corroded.
I bought some CLR and am about to pour some into an old water hose. Connect to the City Water side of the coach and allow the water to enter really slow until the CLR starts coming out of the kitchen faucet. Then turn the water off and allow the CLR to work.
After about 30 minutes, I will let the water run until I think the CLR has been removed from the water.
You think this may help the water pressure or does anyone else have any input?

Thanks guys and gals.

When I was in Flamingo a couple of years ago we had terrible pressure/flow in our Rockwood. I got to checking and my whole unit filter was black

Stupid me I put a new in line filter on the hose to fill my tank and did not flush the new filter and al the 'charcoal fines) ended up in the whole unit filter. Rather than go into 'civilization' for a new cartridge I removed the cartridge and ran without a filter until we left Flamingo
