Water tank never full

I have filled up my water tanks- so much that they over flow. It never registers more than 3/4 full...drives me crazy- must be full. We are boon docking at football game should fresh water last for normal use for weekend- Winnebago tour 42 qd

Do NOT trust the sensors.. They go out all the time.

That should be plenty of water for a weekend...however, it depends on how you use it.

On our panel there are small "pots" that can be adjusted to make them more accurate, may not be perfect though. Our sensors are pads on the outside of the tanks so they don't collect debris either.

This is a classic case of if the water tank is half full or half empty....

All kidding aside, don't trust the factory installed sensors, they are notoriously inaccurate.

My sensors are adjustable. They are set so: fresh water says empty when it is not quite empty. The other two tanks say full before they are.
They are all 70 gallons. I guess I have about a 7 gallon cushion in each one.

You didn't mention the coach brand or year and model. Some water gauge systems are better than others, . One of the better ones is the See_Level Gauge, and it can be retrofitted to most RVs if you have one of the other types.

Mostly, though, it is a matter of watching your use and estimating. Even if you had a dead-accurate gauge, empty is still empty and you have to go find more. If somebody takes a too-lengthy shower, knowing he used 17.2 gallons doesn't helkp much either!

We can run a week or more on 100 gallons of fresh water, when we choose to conserve our use. Maybe 4 days if we are somewhat more lavish, but even then we usually run out of gray tank space before the fresh is gone.
