There is actually more space in there than a 36' Class A. Or should I say more utilized space. Negative with a class A was the front of the coach was useless except for driving.

I get the Class C harrassment all the time though
My comment was more about the 4 kids than a Class C. You're a braver man than me!

weyllllll... been very busy, too busy to post. We started a blog, created a route, planned things along the way, fixed up the house, rented the house, loaded the motorhome, bought some towing garb to tow the Landcruiser, fabricated a mounting bracket for the landcruiser and we are now T-7 days before we move into the coach, we leave on the 10th.

Here we are towing the cruiser for the first time.

We envy you on the full time....but with FOUR KIDS. I hope you keep your sanity.

In any case you should have some real tales to tell.

If you get down to Texas, look up The Texas Boomers.

thanks for uploading the youtube. nice for the utter newbies like myself to see, living vicariously thru your experience until we get the $ or nerve to try it ourselves. Hope you keep us all posted as to your experience with family life in an RV.
So you rented the house, how long will you fulltime? for as long as you can/want to? or do you have a planned duration?

We toured the factory yesterday and my kids ate it up. I've been working with Mike Swan for the last few months regarding the custom setup on my Land Cruiser. I had purchased a 15,000lb hitch before I figured out the base plate on the rig. Well I thought I had it figured out but I over complicated it.

The 15000lb hitch dropped the receiver point 4" where I was going to put the custom base plate.

We simplified the construction and just welded 2 additional tabs to the ARB bumper.... so Mike Shipped me a 4" drop which I used as a raise.

Good people here in Pender NE. Small town of 100

Update, we haven't posted much to this. We went to mall of america then over to the family farm in Wisconsin for a week... then over to Chicago, then elkhart indianna to have some more coach warranty work done, then we headed over to niagra falls for a weekend (the cinderella campground is kinda sketchy eh?) and then cruised over to Boston. A few weeks later I took a week off work and drove up to Acadia and stayed at the SW state park. Awesome. We've been settled here in Boston (worcester) for about 2 months now and are getting ready for the next Leg. We finally got the rest of the coach's bugs worked out after a long few weeks parked at Longview in Conneticut. Feels like it should have 1 year ago now!

Planning on many stops in the next 3 months, but TN for Haloween, Disney world for Thanksgiving and Biloxi for Christmas.

So far my coach is averaging 9mpg over 4500 miles. The last 1000 miles we slowed down to 59 and we are getting 10.5mpg towing our 6,000lb landcruiser.

We are having a blast, homeschooling the kids and teaching them the deep history of the NE and soon SE!
