Hi all,

Wanted to start a conversation here as it would be nice to meet people in our travels.

My Wife, Myself and our 4 kids under the age of 7 years old will be going full time in our new Class C starting June. We will be pulling a 1997 Locked Landcruiser as a toad. We will be starting in Seattle in June, heading to Wisconsin for July 4th week, then to Chicago, Cleveland and will land in Massachussets in August (I'll be in NYC for the first week). We will then head up to main and in November will likely start heading to Florida making many stops on the way. In December we will be in Biloxi and will head west to texas in Jan... up to california Feb/march and then back up to Seattle for the summer 2012.

Where are you located? We would love to meet some of the experienced Full timers and part timers!

That's quite the rig! Got any interior shots? Where in WI will you be heading to? I've lived here most of my life, the family having made the way here from Seattle, where I was born.

It sounds like you have it all planned out. Keep us posted periodically about your progress and experiences. Especially with the four young ones. Good luck .

For work reasons, I full timed it by myself over 2 years until recently. The family and I are doing a 2-month whirlwind tour of the US starting...tomorrow! Our kids are older. We're just going to pull up and throw them outside until bedtime.

Awesome! Congrats on the new life. Our plans are taking us North for summer but we'll probably winter in the West so perhaps we'll be closer then? Are you blogging on your travels? You can always see where we are on the blog and we're always open to meeting up. Nina

I don't, but I'm going to throw up a Youtube video here soon. Life is a whirlwind right now with getting the house ready to sell.

Very cool! How many miles will you be traveling? How many states will you hit?

Yes, we are in Seattle till June. We have a blog setup, but haven't published it yet, once we hit the road that will be live. I see you in the Solar thread. I'm talking with HMB right now about doing our Solar right. He is going to be in Montana shortly. Have you guys put your solar together yet? I'm going to be doing the solar for the coach as well as beer can heaters. If I need to boondock, I want to have the tools to do it

Oh cool. Let us know when you publish the blog!

As for the solar we got it done in Jan and absolutely love it. We took a looong time researching it and I did a 3-part series on the whole process in my blog. If you're interested it's here http://wheelingit.wordpress.com/2010...overy-process/

Congrats. We have been "out there" since last July. I'm not sure about 4 kids under 7 in a C though.

This Class C sleeps 10. 2 in the table area, 2 in the couch area.... we didn't want to keep tearing down and setting up on a daily basis so this coach fit us.

305hp Cummins Diesel
10,000lb towing capacity
2 Bunks close to the back. A queen bed in the back and a King over the Coach.

There is actually more space in there than a 36' Class A. Or should I say more utilized space. Negative with a class A was the front of the coach was useless except for driving.

I get the Class C harrassment all the time though
