Today I was informed by Mickey Ivey's wife that Mickey(rvnotebook)has passed away unexpectedly yesterday.
For those of you that didn't know Mickey, he was a full time rv'er and frequent poster on IRV2 and was the author of the software RvNotebook that is used by by a number of us on this forum.
Patti asked me to pass on the bad news to all of his RV'ng friends and his many customers. Needless to say Mickey's prompt and thorough support of Notebook will end. If you need help Patti asked if I could help, and I certainly will try. I am not nearly as knowledgeable about Notebook as Mickey was, but have been a long time user and a friend of Mickey's.
You can post any thoughts or questions on his website rvnotebook.com as Patti will be monitoring that.

Our thoughts are with the family.
What is really strange is that I was just updating our campgrounds that we used this past year on the his software. Then I come here and read this!

Gosh....I had communicated with him this past Spring....wonder how old he was?

Our prayers are with his wife and family as they learn to live with Mickey in a new way.

Small world, I purchased his software last year but never had the chance to meet. I am sure he will be missed by many and our prayers go out to the family.

Bob, Mickey was only 64. I've never met such an easy going honest guy. We'll all miss him.

Mickey was a very dear friend of mine and we traveled with him and Patti for several months the end of last year and first of this. He was one of the good ones and will be greatly missed by many. Thanks for all the good times my friend, please watch over the rest of us.

When we got the phone call about Mickey I had to pull off the road, I was so shook up. We had just spent time with him and Patti at the fairgrounds in Celina, Ohio and then at Fall Escapade. Mickey will be missed by everyone who knew him, and remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and willingness to help anybody who came his way.
