We need a new sport called-

"WATCH THEM BACK IN" Also needed are paddles with numbers 1 through 10 to hold up when their done. :-) :-)

Kind of like where I live with a huge lake and massive boat launch ramp. It's great fun just to sit back and watch the boats being launched and recovered.

You my friend are one sick individual.

How could you possibly get enjoyment from another persons frustration.

or lack of knowledge or lack of planing or lack of being schooled on the finer this in life.

If you can help out do so. If they want to be jerks sit back and smile with the others.

Always try and pay it forward and "For Gods sake, be human".

I also enjoy this game. Nothing sick about it. It's not as though we are going over and laughing in front of them. I'm sitting on my patio or in my coach having a drink and watching. What else is there to do when we are relaxing having a cup of 'joe' or a cocktail.

The couple of times I have "help out" I was told very rudely to ming my own business.

Yep, we had 5ers for 12 years, never really got "good" at backing!

The MH is MUCH easier to back into a site!

I enjoy this sport and actually have offered to back two different rigs in for people.

They didn't take my offer.

Have you ever noticed if you were backing in a trailer and it went perfect the first time that nobody was around to see you.

Then, the next time you back in and things go wrong, everybody and his brother are watching?

So I'm with you Cliffy on the paddles idea.

I like the look of disappointment of peoples faces when I nail a back-in the first time, and do so without stopping. It was particularly enjoyable when we had our 40' fifth wheel and CC, LB, dually.
It counteracts all the times I was ready to give up in frustration___.

Always willing to help but not to presume it is wanted. Timing and approach is everything.

It is fine to enjoy the spectacle but not fine to ridicule and laugh out loud we have all been there. A scoring system does not offend me, after the RV is secure.

Remember it is necessary to protect you and yours, there are folks who get downright dangerous sometimes with their RV's particularly when they are frustrated or mad. Pay attention.

I have been helped before and I enjoy helping others.

Back when we went from a TT to a 5-r, I made the mistake of telling my regional camping group we got the new 5-r. When we arrived at our site for a group campout, there they all were, sitting in camp chairs on their sites just waiting for the "show" to start.

Note to self: never be the last one to arrive when you've got a new RV.

I never offer help unless I see that they are struggling and there is poor communications between copilot and driver. I figure some are like myself, I don't care who is trying to help the only one I pay attention to is DW. She is good at it and we have our hand signals down pat.
I also used to think 5ers are difficult to park until I watched a couple that I swear must have men doing 10 mph backing in; first time and no adjustment. Of course I've seen others take out tree limbs, awnings, and power posts. Like with a MH it's the driver and copilot that makes the difference. It is after all, a team sport.

Yup, agree, it can be fun.

Used to do the same thing when attending the big Oshkosh fly-in every year. My best flying buddy and I would get there a few days early and set up our lawn chairs and radio, tuned to the tower frequency, as close to the runway as possible just to watch the show. It was one of our favorite parts of the week.

We never did resort to the numbered paddles. Thought that would just be too mean.
