South is morning I grabbed the voltmeter and headed up on the roof. When I pulled the shroud off the AC unit, I noticed that the reversing valve solenoid was unplugged and wire tied back as if someone did it intentionally. I checked voltage coming in and it was good and ohmed out the solenoid and it was good. Plugged it back in and flipped the switch. In a few minutes I had warm air. No idea why the PO would have disabled the HP on that unit. It's been running in heat more for an hour now with no problems.
