We're losing a great supplier

I just received the following email from Tom at MaceratorPumps.com.

Dear Customers,

We regret to inform you that as of the 18th of this month we will be closing our doors. The reasons are the bad economy & ever increasing pricing on parts & supplies.

I would like to Thank You for all of your continued support over the past several years.

We do have several items left in stock on our website priced below our costs if you
would like to check it out to see if there are any items you need before we close.

Thanks Again, enjoy the upcoming Holidays.

Tom

If you have ever dealt with Tom, you would know he is a gentleman, offering great service. He even built me a custom bayonet fitting to turn my SaniCon into a potable/detachable unit.

I hate to see him go and do wish him all the best.

Always sad to see a small business go out. It is not easy today for a small business to make it and only getting harder and harder.

Always sad to see a great supplier / product choice leave the market.

His reference to a "bad economy" speaks volumes in itself for small business'. Hopefully he can re-evaluate his options in the future.

If one Googles "macerator pumps", a LOT of suppliers come up.

Could just be one more case of market saturation...that's free enterprise!

Maybe this fellow will find a product line with fewer other providers, and come back better than before.

X2

It could be that simple. There is a limited number of consumers that need the product. Supplies exceed demand.
