Well, in Texas, they called us "Winter Texans".

So how about "Summer Canucks"

Lately, here on the little Island off the left coast of Canada, you are now being referred to as 'RARE!"

Maybe the "Bring Cash" connotation has something to do with that?

We are in the midst of a move to Osoyoos and are finding out how much it costs to live in Paradise.

Hey why Osoyoos? Do you realize you'll be almost only a stones throw from DogPatch?

Denise and I camped at the Campground (ISTR on Lakeshore Drive) and it was so hot our airconditioner couldn't cool our C Class. It was great for me but DW has a problem with too hot so it was not at all pleasant for her.

I would like to return because of the amenities in the area but its not high up Denise's wish list.

I refer to myself as "a fair weathered friend".

I have many places in the country where I park at a friend or relative's house for weeks or months. The objective being to wear shorts 80% of the time and never turn on the A/C. We are GREAT house guests because we bring our own house, most complete with our own bed, kitchen and bathroom.

I stay the longest in Seattle, enjoying the cool summers. There I am called Mom. My SIL can enjoy having me there because I raise some organic vegetables, plant flowers and pull weeds, but I'm not underfoot or offering opinions.

If you overstay your welcome, head north to Port Angeles, cross to Victoria, head north on 19, turn left on 4, right on Cherry Creek and yell my name when you get to the firehall. Denise and I'll give you lots of weeding when you get here.

Well, I got fed up with having to cover the MH and shuffle back and forth to our little apt. Was beginng to feel like a pak mule,,,,
So bought a garage for the rig and it happened to come with a place to live. The climate in Osoyoos is more appealing than AB also.

16 X 48 W/a 14' door. Drive in, back out. 50A service inside, Sani Dump in the driveway. Put the slides out, and there ya go..
Thinking July/August we will be gone north to go fishing.
Drop us a line if you are in the area, the beer is always cold.....
