I remember back in the early 60's when I bought my first VW bus. Never paid a lot of attention to them.. After I bought it.. we all waved at each other. Same with mcycles.. we used to all wave at each other. HD riders never waved back.. till I got my Harley Used to be that RVers waved at each other.. not so much any more.

I used to have Alpenlite and Escapees club #'s on my last two 5ers.. Unless MOC comes out with a club sticker and number.. I doubt I'll have anything on the girl.

My wife and I had a little game going on, When we had our gasser we would (between she and I) Kinda flip them off (not so we could be seen) Yes we were jealous!

Since we got our DP we giggle when we see one.

Lord are we childish or what!

We live in the country and everyone waves except newbies that move out here from the city. But, they eventually catch on and wave to. Our last trip a few weeks ago down the Oregon coast....nobody in class A's waved? Maybe it was because it was raining, they were from the city, their brain just wasn't fast enough, they couldn't take their hand off the wheel....but if you see a guy waving at you.....it's probably me!

I like and remember the old days before cell phones when most every RVer had a CB radio. Communication with fellow travelers was easier.

Usually get into those where from, where to, miles/day conversations. Just enjoying the lifestyle.
I like the busy rest stops too...sometimes you can help by lending a hand or a tool or some parts.

I usually wave if I see an rv on the road. Most don't wave back or my eyes are getting to old to see that far.

Today, we saw a new trailer going down the highway and the TV antenna was fully extended in the up position. No way to let them know, it stuck up higher than the AC or any other part, just hope they miss any low branches....
That is the reason I have to use a checklist....
