Fill it up quickly, is right!

When we got home from Quartzsite in late January, I filled the motorhome for $1.89 a gallon. Today I went to town and the cheapest gas I could find is $2.45 a gallon. That's a 29.6% increase in a month and a half! Yikes!!

Running about $2.20 to $2.45 (reg.) here in NE. Ohio. Diesel $3.19 Got down to about about $1.69 about two months ago. The rise blamed on fire at refinery in CA. and the change over to "summer gas". What a crock of "crap"...

Just hoping it gets down to the sub $2 range for the RV season...Hears to hoping.

Drove by a Chevron in Vancouver today; $2.99! Three weeks ago it was $1.86 at Costco.

Washington state - second highest prices in the lower 48. Oregon? Third highest... Argh!!

Been bouncing around $2.05 to $2.39 ( regular) the last month and a half. I'll even see stations go from $2.05 to $2.49 in one day, and then drop 2-4 cents per day back down. NE. Ohio.

I heard this a few days ago.
At 458.5 million barrels, U.S. crude oil inventories are at the highest level for this time of year in at least the last 80 years.

I assume it came from this report I just found.

The last couple posts explains why I stay away from Taxifornia. No reason in the world fuel should be that expensive in relation to it's neighbouring states.

The US is running low on places to store surplus oil with supply showing no signs of a slowdown.
