I just paid $3.19 for diesel, and I think regular gas was $2.49 in SC.

You probably won't believe this! 4 cents a gallon!!!

Filled my tank @ 1.02 / gallon last month on the PanAmericanHighway! I have a F250 Ford diesel with Lance Camper. The price of diesel in some of the other countries is as low as 4 cents/gallon for diesel and 10 cents/gal for gasoline!

There are just a few countries with this extremely low price, we had paid as much as $5/gal in other central and south american countries all the route of the TrekoftheAmericas expedition from North America to the tip of Argentina!!!

When I drove over the road Diesel always around 99 cents and gas was always about a buck more. I don't get it either.
Could it have something to do with N. D.

The demand structure and tax rates in the US are very screwed up for diesel. It should be $1 less than regular. But that's what happens when government gets involved.

$3.42 for regular and $3.74 for diesel in Fairbanks Alaska. We have the lowest state tax on gas but nearly the highest price at the pump. What a deal.
