He told me that to change oil, filter and lube was $149.00 but he would throw in the generator oil change. I didnt use him. Many Quick Lube type places can handle your service for much less than dealers.
And screw it up good and proper for ya too . Won't let 'em anywhere near the engine, would like it to keep running right .

Back when I was turning wrenches for a living, I was a minimum of 100.00 for an oil change and checkover for an RV. Most techs don't want to touch one, so if you find someone GOOD that will do a PROPER service, I would think 100+ isn't a bad deal.

Today we had the Ford recall done on the coach at a commercial Ford dealership. Had them change the oil. Cost = $39. A huge difference from the $130 we paid at the RV dealership a few months ago. Lesson learned.

I'm getting ready to do an oil change on my vehicles: oil was $2.68 per quart at Walmart - I got 7 quarts for the motorhome and 2 quarts for the generator. Also got 6 quarts for the Ford Escape, and 2 quarts for the Ural motorcycle. The 4 quarts of Mobil1 for the smart car were a bit more expensive!

Nat,l tire & battery, here in Janesville, WI. Charged me 25.00. They did it outside, in front of the door. Hand lubed, filled washers, checked tires. I have used them each spring, for the past 3-4 years. They also do my cars, so they take care of repeat customers.
