We went through something similar to this several years ago. A co-worker asked the DW and I how we could afford our MH. At that time my DW and his DW all worked for the same company and made about the same wage. We asked them how much money they spent eating out, at the bars and for the smoking habit. It ended up being more then what our MH payment was. So each to their own! Now when we have people ask how we could afford a newer MH, I just tell them that we worked hard, saved money and earned it.
