What do you use to clean your carpets?

Our MH was designed with nearly white carpets in the bedroom and front cab areas. Not sure who thought that was a good idea, but they are getting dirty. We had an upright carpet cleaner, but it was kinda bulky for the RV and it died last month. We're looking for a new one that will work well in the RV. What is everyone using on theirs?

We use the same one we use in the stick house. Ours has a portable attachment you can pull off and use in the tight spots. Ours is a Bissel, and does a great job.

I just cleaned ours with a spray type foam cleaner I got from Home Depot(don't recall the name of it) just spray it on and work it in with a soft brush, let it dry and vacuum it,it did a very good job on ours.

We also have white carpeting, agree with wondering whoever thought it was a good idea..' we have a Hoover shampoo machine. Too bulking to carry in the coach so it stays at home. Does work well.

We've been using a Bissel upright for years. It's agile enough to do the entire coach. I use very little soap on the first pass and then use clean water and make several more passes with water. Once I'm done, I use old bath towels to dry around the edges where we have tile. I also try to absorb water out of the carpet with the towels.

Once done, I open all the windows, turn on the Fantastic Fan and let it dry.

Wife uses Resolve carpet cleaning powder. Shake it on brush it in let it dry, powder is slightly moist, vacuum it up. First time she used it I told her it won't get the spots out, she said it will and it did. If our pets have an accident in the coach or S & B she uses foaming window cleaner on the spot. Spray it on let sit a little and blot it up. Can't even see the spot once it dries. We buy the large container of Resolve at Walmart. Best thing I did when we bought the coach was install a Dirt Devil vacuum, wife loves it.

Bissel upright, only not with their products. I use Rug Doctor. Pretreat stains then very hot solution.

Bought a new Bissel upright. At least it's a bit more compact than the old one. Thanks for all the help.
