How about the term "The Wife"? I hear that from guys, but never have heard "The Husband" from the girls. Seems like a odd phrase, my wife, ok, the wife, um?

Try to live up to your dogs opinion of you.

Going back a number of years, I always heard it used as Da' wife and or Duh, Wife!
