What is involved in "de-winterizing"??

We took delivery of our new travel trailer a couple of weeks ago. It's still winterized. What all is required to get it ready for our first outing? Is it as simple as flushing some water thru the system??

Flushing the water thru the system is a start. If you have a hot water heater make sure there is water in it before you turn it on.

My list includes flush all the lines out. Sanitize all the lines, Clorox and water mix, let stand for a few minutes and flush that all out. Check and charge the batteries. Give EVERYTHING a good look over and then test/ try everything out in the driveway.
Then get out, relax, and enjoy.

A few other thoughts... if it has water filters, replace those. Change the battery in the smoke, CO and propane detectors and test them. If you haven't towed it yet hook it up and test the tail lights prior to your first trip. Then pack it up and go have fun!

Couldn't have said it any better. Check the tires for correct pressure Too, then burn them up. Enjoy the sites,
