Hey that's OK........
Did you put your barking dog away? that really annoys me
How about those darn pesky kids riding their bikes up and down the road in front of my camper, can you quiet them down and tell 'em to quit hav'n fun?
Next time could you park that 10 year old camper a little further away? it's kind of depressing to look at.
Next time you and your friends decide to watch the football game outside and hoot and holler for your team, maybe you could go to the bar and do that?
Quit letting that Diesel idle for so long at your campsite, I'm trying to enjoy nature.
I think some people are just looking for something to complain about.

The wife and I were talking about this today.
Every campground we've been to, mostly state parks but a few private, you're parked backed in or with the tongue facing the road.
That means when I'm sitting outside I see the non entry side of my neighbor on one side and I can't see the entry side of the other neighbor. That means I can't see any of my immediate neighbor's lights.
I can see one or two other rigs across the road or behind me but I've never seen any lights that light up the entire campground or even come close.

Someone asked about shades and eyelids. We had a neighbor with a brand new fiver leave the scare light on and we didn't notice until we went to bed. The pre-LED light shown through the shade and my eyelids, and I could almost see the bones in my hand when I tried to block it. I pulled on some clothes, knocked and politely explained the problem. They were very apologetic, searched for the right switch and turned it off. The next morning, they invited us to tour their new HT Jayco fiver being towed by a new F150. Very expensive as we had to buy one of each. LOL

What is it with external lights?

We don’t close our shades. I like to entertain the neighbors when I eat or nap in my recliner.
Seriously, a REAL campground is quiet and dark at night.
Newer RVs are in a race of the gaudiest, where the outdoor glare is no different than the indoor “casino” lights.
Glitz is in! And they have no clue that Glitz is gaudy. Glitz is gauche.
IT IS NOT CAMPING
I’m often wondering when the disco ball and stripper pole will drop down.

Pretty sure it is a government conspiracy to drive people nuts.
I just go inside, close my eyes and go to sleep.

Don’t get me wrong. I tolerate the harsh lighting in parks where I can’t avoid it.
I think RV parks will adjust to make it a park rule, just like dog poop, in the interest of the majority of their customers.
The loud noise issues are enforced where we camp, so no issues there.

What if the majority of customers like the lights?

i have to agree, guess I've never noticed too many "Glitzy" lights from my camping spot.
Maybe they need to stop "Camping" in the Casino parking lot.

At one time I was married to a Native American. She would say the answer to almost all things some humans do to upset others. "They don't seem to know where the center of the earth is". Some will understand, others not.

That entitlement attitude is contagious. It does slowly wear off, but the more one is exposed to other entitled humans, the stronger the attitude gets, and longer it takes to wear off. Constant exposure, can make it near permanent. So watch where you hang out.

Personally I like to plug an auto flasher into my 5vr umbilical cord .
It fits perfect.....turns ALL trailer lights ON (front/rear cap clearance lights, side marker lights) and FLASHES them On/OFF/ON/OFF/ON/OFF/ON/OFF/ON .................
Makes it real easy to find when coming back from 'kymbaya' gathering and some adult beverages.
So less embarrassing then that time when I went to wrong trailer one late night....DANG!

Especially the nice bright ones like LED strips.
Now I could understand if camping in some ghetto campground and you feel the need the feel more secure. But out in a $60 plus per night National Park campground why feel the need to blast your neighbors with light?
Thoughts or insight?

Close your blinds and or your eyelids are my suggestion and thoughts.
