Folks up north camp during the HOT summers down SOUTH. Mostly they are for hanging flowers or plants. Someone must have been into Butterflies and plant them for the butterflies. Check out http://MonarchWatch.org

Yep. We host at state parks and that's what a lot of people do. It doesn't work, but that's what they do.

We drive around on our morning run, and there are usually a couple with plastic bags hanging from them with the bottoms torn out and trash scattered everywhere.

Maybe the raccoons in Arkansas are just smarter than others.
