What is this switch for?

The one at the bottom. A red light comes on when you flip it. It’s NOT the water pump. Can’t figure it out. New to us coach.

Is it a light switch to light up the area under the trailer where your water/sewer attachments are?

I would say that is a 120VAC switch not a 12VDC light switch. Take the cover off and check the voltage to it so you know more of what you're looking for.

Probably the electric element in the water heater. If it's not working then the element is probably burned out.

You have a Suburban Water Heater
The Electric OEM On/Off Switch is in outside compartment
Some RV MFGs add an On/Off Switch Inside RV...wired in series with OEM Switch.

Both have to be ON for element to be energized
Leave OEM one in outside compartment ON and use that Inside Switch to turn electric on/off

Almost for sure it's the electric power for the water heater, which is 120v.

I am not sure about your coach but in my Newmar I have a switch like that for the tank heat pads. NOT the water heater but heaters to keep the water & holding tanks from freezing. I have yet to use them.

Hmmm. On that panel is a switch labeled hot water heater and a light comes on when I switch it to on. I’ve never used the mystery switch with the hwh. Ha! I should check the manual. Just realized it might be in there. Thanks friends!
