Slightly Stoopid starts all of our trips, boat, car, or travel trailer. We start with Closer to the Sun, and work our way through several other of their albums.

Or SiriusXM channel 42

All depends on my mood ... if I can find an NPR affiliate with something interesting on .. I'll listen to that.

After that - I usually reach for my Bluetooth connected iPhone, pick a genre and hit shuffle. Some of my favorite driving music comes from folks like Tower Of Power, Jack Mack, Earth Wind & Fire, Tommy Castro, Delbert McClinton, etc. I love pretty much anything with a good horn section ...

When the "up energy" stuff starts wearing on my ears - I usually reach for some smooth jazz - Spyro Gyra, Crusaders, Fattburger, etc. can entertain me for awhile.

With more than 7,500 tunes in the iTunes library ... I can always find something I like.

The only stuff I immediately switch off would be rap/hip hop and/or country.

I have Sirius/XM in the motorhome and dingy I usually start the day with talk radio, switching to today's country on the Highway Channel then I switch over to the 60's, 70's and then 80's for a while then back to talk radio at the end of the day. Occasionally I will switch to AM and look for a clear station to get the local flavor. Almost any musical genre works for me including classical I try to avoid music with screaming, shouting or yelling.

Generally if I have Sirrius, it's Ch 5-6-7- 19(Elvis), 55 (Willie's Roadhouse). I'm old enough to like Sinatra but would rather shoot myself before listening one of those 3-4 hour long shows. I wasn't sure about Dean Martin songs until the local oldies station played a couple back to back while I was on the interstate on Monday. He goes with Sinatra now. Dislike most of the current music, rap and contemporary 'classical' which, IMHO, is discordant. Opera - well let's say I appreciate it but can't listen to it as I have no idea what the story they are telling means

Now, some of my favorites, The Eagles - here:https://youtu.be/-GnlVphNKOI

Like many different types of music depending on my mood. Generally I listen to classic rock, Zep Guns and roses, and I can listen to the Dead all day and night and then some. Al Stewart, King Crimson, and I love 2 Willies, Nelson and Willy Deville, The Highwaymen and Lucinda Williams. I can also get into Edith Piaf and Anita Baker. I have every Doors album.
If I were on a deserted island and could only take two musicians with me Will Deville and the Dead would be it.

We have unlimited data, so we often stream Sun Radio from Austin TX or listen to one of the mariachi bands on the radio...seriously, my wife loves Hispanic pop music.
