Some of these far out there things today will be reality in a few decades. I believe the biggest such innovation in the Rv world will come from a more efficient power unit for the RV.
I, for one, am waiting for the robomaid 2050 to come out. I could use the time I gain from her taking care of all the detail stuff around the campsite to spend more time on this forum

My dream RV would have what others may already have but I don't. Basement doors that open from the side so I quit hitting my head. I'm a slow learner. 50" plasma TV outside with souround sound, a king sized bed. Electric power plant that can go 600 miles a day and will charge fully overnight with standard 50 amp connection and can pull like a diesel. In reality I think this is not too far off in the future.

My wish would be for a device/technology that would eliminate the need to empty waste tanks. Some type of technology that processes the waste while its in the tank and then automatically empties the tanks without human interaction.
(e.g. I don't have to go outside and hook up the stinky slinky!)
I still cringe when it comes time to empty the waste tanks.

I would also like to see some more Star Trek technology. A transporter -- "Beam me to the Grand Canyon, Scotty" would make life so much fun! But, I would settle for the whole house, voice activated computer. I can see being in the shower and telling the computer to add shampoo to the shopping list.

Gene Rodenberry predicted ipads and Kindles almost 50 years ago.
