No cell service or TV reception and a nice waterfront site. Just got back from 9 nights that were spent in a national park without electric, cell, TV or genny.

Yes, and REALLY roughing it is running low on rum AND only having 30 amp power, not 50 amps.

With enough rum, all of these problems seem to just go away! Long live the rum!

Another reason I love my 24' Class C, 30 amps runs everything quite nicely.

Ok I admit this could be DH and I. I am not such a great "camper". Love the RV though and TT too.

DH grew up doing real camping and is so good at it. All of our kids like to camp and did that with him. You know father "son and daughter" time.

Having only 30 amps means no microwave popcorn while the icemaker is running!
Running out of RUM on saturday evening of a holiday weekend

Roughing it was setting up and teardown of the tent, canopy, and all the extras I took so I'd be comfortable.
Or, finding a hotel for under $80 a night where the roaches wouldn't try to evict you during the middle of the night for snoreing!

Now I'm enjoying my 'new to me' 26' TH/TT! It has a cabnet devoted to liquor so that I won't run out of Rum. Or if I do, I can switch to something else!

DW says roughing it is an Airstream with only one satellite dish.

For me, it's having to go alone. I'm working on that, so wish me well.
