Roughing it? I never thought of traveling in a coach as roughing it. I prefer first class accommodations, with all the amenities.

I tease my wife that her idea of roughing it is a holiday inn without a pool. My buddies and I go off on some kind of adventure every 3-4 month or so. sometimes its the rv, our own planes or big bird "airlines". if there is not electric at the destination you wont find my wife. lol. Sometimes you just have to plan them that way. "Just kidding honey".

Any place without electrical hookups... and of course tent camping which we gave up 5 years ago. We're too old and stiff to sleep on the ground. We want some of the comforts of life so now have the TT and the old Class-C.

We also have our own hot-spot for Internet, our cell phones, our wireless home phone and Satellite TV with us, the built in DVD player.........

Roughing it to me is when the campground only has water and electric service. We do like to have the nice full hookup paved pads.

Bringing the GFs teen son and his friends, having the AC on their trailer stop working and they have to stay in my trailer with us. Hope the rum holds out!

Roughing it is: Staying in a park where the loop is too tight to pull around easily, the sites are too small to put out the awning without hitting a tree, there are neighbors within a few feet on either side and you can hear the highway.

Give me a few acres to spread out in and a spectacular view - thank you NFS and BLM!!

I will cross my fingers for you! Oh, and I hope that it will be cool enough tonight for them to go back to their trailer & leave you guys to yours.

My idea of roughing it would be DW and I and hiking into a secluded campsite.
Hmmm. Maybe that won't be roughing it.
