When my husband and I first got together a million years ago, roughing it was being in our tent when it snowed.

Then it was our VW bus.

Followed by our truck camper.

Then our first motorhome with no tv, but it had a bathroom!

Now in our second motorhome, it is when one of the tv's isn't getting DirectTV.

Next question.

Roughing it: 30 amp (or less) site.

Really roughing it: 30 amp site in 100+ weather (IE: Where I am now and when I may well be later today).

The rum held out, and the kids AC worked afterall. Wasn't as rough as I thought it would be. Traveling back n forth to keep working each day was the worst part. Bike in toyhauler made the gas bill more tolerable! Just got through unpacking. Washing bedding to go back in trailer for the next trip.

Roughing it? When the music videos on the basement tv aren't in HD.

Roughing it is when trees block the satellite signal.

That's nothing. I once ran almost completely out of Crown Royal... almost. Thankfully, I sobered up long enough to drive to the liquor store before tragedy happened.
