We have had coach net for 6 years. Only needed them once and that was for the Toad. They came through with no issues and fairly promptly.

I have had Good Sam for a number of years, only attempted to use it once in the Badlands, SD. Ended up using a 'C' clamp to hold air ride leveling arm in place to drive to Rapid City (slowly) instead of waiting for the tow. Truck dealer fabricated a bracket and welded it to the frame which was very creative on the tech's part in my opinion.

I have considered trying Coach Net on my renewal in September based on the reviews on here.

See the reason for this with the following post....

Wayne MD Good Sam allows you into their site to register complaints and sometimes get things done. Does CN offer that? Maybe that's why you see less complaining at CN, their site doesn't answer any complaints there.

We have Good Sams. So far, knock on wood, we have not had to use them.

We have AAA RV Premiere and Good Sam, my complaint with Good Sam is that they use All State as a subcontractor and they are poor at their job, which reflects badly on Good Sam. AAA has never left us sitting for 4 hours as happened with 3 of our 4 breakdowns using Good Sam. I am thinking I will drop Good Sam at renewal time and maybe sign up with Coach Net to give them a try.

Coach Net, Hagerty. Hagerty is mainly collector car insurance but covers all owned. They towed my Pickup/Camper and car trailer 50 miles to Amarillo. A wrecker and a pickup, showed up in 40 min.

Sorry folks but that dog won't hunt. The folks posting on the RV.net Forum cover a wide range of the RV community. Many have GS and many have Coach Net. Coach Net does not operate such a Forum so your argument is pointless.

The overwhelming number of complaints on the RV.Net Forum are about GS, as I said about 10 to 1 so unless GS has ten times as many members as CN (which I sincerely doubt), the reason would seem to lie with their service.... or lack thereof.

GS net is for complaining about GS and not CN. That's why you see the complaints there. You don't see that at CN apparently because you can't do it, thusly no complaints there. A form of censorship? I like to know the worse in both outfits so I can better judge where to place my monies.

Anyone is free to complain about either one here, most who complain do so about GS, as is the case on most open forums.

Good Sam

We compared CN and GS and honestly went with GS because of the fuel discount at the Flying J/Pilot because of the amount of gas my hubby uses for work. We plan to switch to CN when he retires and we go full time

We have had Coach-Net for many years now and have used them many times. Not only for break-downs, which we have had a few and they responded well, but also for questions about problems we were having or suggestions for service centers in the area. Wouldn't take a trip without Coach-Net.
