Taking the family to Banff and Jasper for a couple weeks this summer. Either in the new motorhome we buy before that or we'll rent again I've wanted to ride the giant ice bus since I was little.

Got one vacation mostly planned, got one in the planning stage...

I'm planning on taking the kids to Washington, DC at some point after school is out...

And the one "mostly" planned is STURGIS!?!?!? Got the site paid for, just need to fill in the days... Planning on heading out on the 31st evening and in camp the next morning... I should be soaking in the "au jus" of The 75th Sturgis on my birthday (8/2)... Love my kids.. But can't wait for this one...

Trip to Mile High CG in late fall, I'd like to make a two week trip out of it if possible.

Realistically, I think the wife wants to go to her families campout in Indiana in June so that would eat a week.

I recently learned of the camping situation in the local National Forest, so there's likely to be several weekend trips there.

Since this is our first motor home, And it's an older model. (91 Pace Arrow) We'll be staying within a hundred miles or so from home here in Maine. Or at least until we get all the bugs worked out of it. And for the reason we got our first camper, We'll be spending Labor day weekend at the Windsor fair.

Our summer is usually our early trip (May - New England, probably back to Maine) then plant it for June - mid August along Lake Champlain at our usual seasonal site. We will then pull out mid August, with the latest, 1st week in September and go West with stops in Michigan (home town visit), maybe Wisconsin Dells, the Dakotas, following the Northern route to Montana and Wyoming then on to Utah, Colorado, New Mexico and finish up back at Lake Champlain for the last couple of weeks of the CG season. We choose early and late season to let the folks with kids have their fun with them plus for us that there are few CG hassles for decent sites, most 'touristy' facilities are not crowd stretched and road traffic has dwindled.
