You guys will love Alaska. We did it in 2010, what a fantastic trip. The wildlife and scenery is unbelievable. We left mid May, not hardly any traffic and roads were great.

First it will be snow skiing probably in West Virginia where they keep the campgrounds open all year, then the Northeast states this spring. Just got back from 3 months touring the Western states and we had a ball.

Looking at going to Mt. Rushmore and take in some sights along the way. We live on the gulf coast in Texas so there's a lot to see between here and there.

We're planning on 4-5 weeks in Flordia in April to early May and then taking our 20 year old foreign exchange student to Colorado so she can see the mountains. We're hoping our 16 year old granddaughter can go on this trip too. We'll take 5 other grandchildren on several short trips during the rest of the summer. We have to make up for a great lack of trips this past summer.

We will be leaving Garner State Park TX in April to go to Steamboat Lake State Park CO for the summer. We will leave there in September, hopefully to another volunteer position in Arizona. I want to set up a semi-permanent route--Colorado in the summer and Arizona in the winter with 2 months travel time each way.
