Dave,

You can buy one from Amazon.com for less than $100, or another brand for about $65.

I'm not saying they are not worth it. If you need two and are willing to pay $170 for them, go for it. It just irks me when infomercials are so misleading, IMO.

But it's not the way they are marketing it. You should read some of the on line reviews of how some were not able to cancel their order after beginning the on line order process.

Irked also Dave. We got the pair of Nuwave's but they didn't come with the cookware. A little aggravating but the online deal looked like it came with the cookware. Oh well. Caveat emptor. Neat appliance though with very precise temperature control, low power use at 1300 watts and boils water quicker than a big gas flame. Eventually I'll unload the un-opened one on ebay.

OKMUNKY,

Can you think of the other brand? I would like to check it out before buying Nuwave.

Dave

MCD shades in all the windows. A new Fisher & Kaytel dishwasher installed in place of the brand new old oven for DW. She also got new LED ceiling lights, new ac return covers and the fan in the br that she been wanting for the past little bit, OK, six years. Oh yeah, the new Atwood leveling system that hopefully won't break every time we use it.

Hi Dave,

I searched Amazon.com for induction cooktop and found several and most had 4 star ratings. Some even came with cookware.

A $7000(quote) radiator for the coach. Don't know final price yet as it isn't in yet.
