Three meter yellow 12v neon flexable tube light from ebay for under $4.00. Going in the Mod box - bound to be someplace I can use it.

Small box of 1 1/4" binder clips. Great for temp cable management and clamps for small glue projects.

Bought a "Jack Antenna", to replace my "Bat Wing" antenna. Got no stations at home with the BW. Pulled the head off the BW and replaced it with the Jack. Did a channel search and got 14 stations. All real bright, clear and colorful! I'm a happy camper!

Generally accepted opinion is blue ones better and Xhose with brass ends best. Yellow/green not so good. Very light weight and small storage space are main positives. Will almost fit in small coffee can.
I got two, as a present last Christmas. I thought "great" now I can easily put my RV hose away, when I leave camp! Then I read the small print "Do Not Use For Potable Water"! Not sure why, but I never used them. I just put the hoses away, in my garage.

Just used pocket hose to wash roof. Very light and easy to handle - in fact so light it it often would not pull itself back down as I worked my way to rear. If I only use to clean roof it was worth $20.

Have you got a photo or a make and model number?

2 new chassis batteries. Still had the originals that finally went bad. We put in 4 new 6ct Lifeline house batteries in Dec. We should have changed out the chassis at the same time. I don't have a battery slide so it made for a tougher job this time LOL!!

Definitely would like to see a photo of that as I've wasted my money and time with the "bat wing" on my last unit.

I use a wire tie to "lock" my heavy rubber hose to the top of the ladder frame and connect the lighter retracting hose to it. Much easier to manage on the roof than the big rubber hose.

SCVJeff posted his findings on an excellent and thorough side-by-side test between the Batwing and Jack solutions. The results were enlightening. I encourage anyone considering either solution to go read his study.
