Bought and installed new kitchen faucet. Old one leaked badly, couldn't be repaired so we bit the bullet and purchased a new one. Do have to share...we shopped and shopped for faucets. "RV" faucets ran close to $300. Ended up with a regular kitchen faucet at 1/3 the price. We're good to go!

Did the new faucet fit up ok or we're modifications required? We want to replace ours with something we like at Home Depot

I swapped my kitchen faucet out for one I bought at HD. Fits perfectly and is SO much nicer than the cheapie that came on the coach.

One of the first things to go when we get a new to us RV is the fixtures. We can't stand the cheap one's that come in most RV's.

We just got a Valterra twist on waste valve, because the waste valves we have are the cable controlled ones, that always seem to leak just a bit, creating unpleasant surprises when you take off the cap to put the stinky slinky on.

I think one of the reasons for the "cheap" fixtures installed in the new RV's is weight. They try to shave as much weight off as possible before it hits the scale and plastic weighs less than steel.

Happens to my Van Gogh whenever the cap is loose. Why can't they invent a more secure closure? Also one that doesn't spill when you are lying sideways.

A "Dirt Devil" central vacuum system. Works great and the DW loves it...

We purchased a Moen kitchen faucet from Lowes. We also had to buy the connectors (one for hot and one for cold) that went from the RV hot & cold water pipes to the new faucet. Ran about $3 each. Works like a charm!
