Thanks. The jeep has a lift of 4.5 inches courtesy of American Expedition Vehicles. The Jeep came with 37 inch mud tires. The purchase was probably one of the most irrational things I have done in several years. I think we will enjoy it though next summer on our two month long RV sabbatical road trip.

I love your Jeep too.

Engineered wood flooring going in tomorrow to replace some of the tile floor I tore out, new carpet going in after in the rest of the coach. A new Samsung 29" LED HDTV for the bedroom to replace the old Vizio that was there. New water hose as the old one started leaking.

Thought it was pretty crazy to spend this kind of money, but can't beat driving a jeep in the desert.A car is just a car.A jeep makes a ride in the desert a walk in the park. Each time I get into it I feel the adventure.

A CB 13 decal. Channel 13 is what many RV enthusiasts monitor. Search the threads, one of our members has arranged for the making of them.

Dometic CF35, we don't have enough room in our ACE's small refrigerator for all of our drinks. This is a small portable but should be big enough for the two of us, and small enough for two old women to move around when full.

Went to Home Depot got 2 8foot sections of dryer vent to replace the heat ducting under cabinets as ours had decentigrated.

Bought some material (Charcoal color) to match our Solar Shades and some white cloth that is rubberized on one side to match our Night Shades. Made a pattern to fit the gap on Driver’s side where glass slopes and is not blocked out by existing shades. Made a pattern to fit the entry door because with the shades down going in and out is a pain in the @$$. Glued the 2 types of material together with spray glue then sewed bias tape around the edges. Glues and sewed velcro to the shades and where they will marry up to on the RV window frames. Looks like the factory shades from the outside. Now have the privacy and looks great. The Solar shade material says it blocks 90% of the UV but when added to the night shade material I get a black out curtain like you need when going to places like ALASKA!!! On my bucket list.
