Getting the rig ready for a trip to south Texas in about 10 days and decided that I was tired of carrying the spare tire for the dolly in the back of the Focus. Went to our local Wally World to get a grease gun and lube and stumbled onto a quick mount spare tire carrier for the dolly. $29.00 and 15 minutes to install and mount the spare, I'm a much happier camper. Found a spare lock and piece of chain in my storage shed, so ready to go in that area.

Hi mustang652, I know the feeling, so ready to be on the road, so ready. We will be leaving this Thur. for a few days over at Rend Lake, IL. COE park. North Sandusky campground. SO READY!!!!!!!! This will be the first trip for my sister and I. The DW passed away early last Nov. after and extend health issue battle. I knew that someday I would be on the road again. Just didn't know how or when. I was even looking at serious mods for the C, to get the DW's wheelchair in there. I was going, one way or another. But our Good Lord had other plans for the DW, time for her to come home.
This weekend camping trip is the shake down trip, to work out the kinks, at the end of the month we will head south to the Gulf Shores, AL, area for 10 days. YYYYYYYEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAA. Life is O SO GOOD.
You guys have a fun and safe trip.

Showed the roof some love...

It was high time to show the roof some love. The shower skylight was showing its age, the fridge vent was no longer held down by the 2 rear screws and the original vent stack from the factory was positioned too low in my opinion and under certain driving conditions was causing not-so-lovely smells to enter the coach. While at it as much of the old Dicor was removed and resealed on the entire roof, it was power washed and sealed. That was a big project now removed from the to-do list .

New Champion 3100W Generator Inverter

New camping generator inverter for my 2014 Wilderness 2175 RB with a 13.5 K BTU air conditioner.
Bought on Amazon.com for best price. 5 days for delivery. I can hardly wait.

Now I won't have to rely on "shore power" when camping.
Boondocking here I come!

They just arrived from Amazon.com: a Blue Ox base plate for our 2013 Honda Fit, a breakaway switch for a brake buddy and locking hitch pins. That's it for today.

Sarah, I'd happily carry your wine glasses and "taste test" the vino if you'd like...

I take a piece of carpet an cut small strips that fit on the stair treads then use double sided tape and set them on the stair treads. That way most dust & light stuff stays on the steps. If they get to bad just throw away and put new ones on!!
