Removed the mirror. It sounds terrible, but I first used a putty knife and I could get to the first strip of the double sided tape. Once that was released I used my thin blade trim saw with great caution, while I pulled out on the edge of the mirror to avoid messing up the wood. No scratches on the wood but boy is that double sided take a pain to remove. Then used water-based contact cement made for attaching laminate counter tops which has no smell and sticks like crazy.

I suppose you could attach right to the mirror and then get some trim to finish the edge so you don't see the glass.

Started to retrofit all lights with new LED's from M4 Products. Using the Cool White and so far we really light the difference. I had bought a few Warm White LED's but we did not like them. Now, I have to wait and see how well these new bulbs last. M4 products cost more than the ones on Ebay or Amazon, but the quality seems to warrant the extra cost. Time will tell.

Let the buying begin...with our 'new' RV

Recently traded in our Four Winds 26' Siesta Class C for an older (but larger) Fleetwood Bounder 36'.

So, now with all the added room - and with us possibly thinking of RVing full-time in the near future...we've been on a buying frenzy!

Actually, not that much yet, hoping to get camping for first time with the new rig in the next 2 weeks...THEN we'll be looking to stock up.

Did have to buy a 6" drop receiver as the new RV hitch height is almost 10" higher than the height of our toad (2010 Jeep Wrangler); add to that (another) lock for the receiver, extra keys for the 'new' RV (one set for wifey, one for magnetic key box to 'hide', one extra for my wallet)
Jack & Peppi / SE Michigan / 2005 Fleetwood Bounder 36 foot Class A (I call her Jane) with a 2010 Jeep Wrangler in tow.

Rebuilt the AutoBrake, 6 new tires (Great price on Coopers), new 24 inch flat screen and new 20" flat screen (replacing CRT's).

First camping trip (Ever) is this weekend. Looking forward to it. After we get moved, it will be time to clean roof, wax, fix caulk!

Be careful around Flex-seal. It NEVER dries. I made the mistake of using some on the rubber boots on my tow bar arms. Every time I got near it I ended up with black paint on me. Ruined my favorite jeans. I finally replaced the rubber boots.

Ordered tire covers (4). Got black, since two-tone tan clashed with the blue paint scheme.
