Four new Energizer golf cart batteries from Sam's Club. $79 each. Cheaper that I had imagined they would be.

I finally gave in about 3 years ago and replaced my liquid fuel Coleman lantern with a propane one. Now every time I fire up the new one, I tell myself what an idiot I was to hold onto the old one so long cleaner, easier to light, stays at a constant light level and no pumping!

Just bought an LED lantern that works off of batteries, a crank sytem as well as a small solar charge unit.

An upholstery stapler this morning to change the fabric on end caps on the dinette booth. We changed the sofa out to a reclining loveseat, I took the fabric off the sofa and used it to upholster a chair that was showing wear. Using leftover fabric on dinette booth.

Sold our house a couple weeks ago, closing is next week. I've been doing a number of 'small' things to prep the motor home for full time living. I bought a couple lengths of the Rhino Flex sewer hose and hung a 6' length of PVC pipe under the MH to store an extra 15' of hose for a total of 30' of hose on board (rather have it and not need it than not have it and...). That and moving the Blue Ox brake box to the back of the Jeep (for storage. One day I'll replace it with something like the 'Air Force'. A friend had one installed at the FMCA rally. Super simple to hook up, totally invisible installation, nothing to store when not in use) I freed up additional space in the storage bays to keep those seasonal items - heavy clothing and Christmas decorations, as examples. Bought some mirror hanging aluminum channel which I used to hang some art work from the house. One piece, done by my grandfather decades ago, I hung on a gaudy mirror using sticky backed Velcro tape (My wife does not agree with my assessment of the mirror ) I also did some modifications to install a couple of decorative lamps my mother-in-law, now long since passed, always had sitting on top of her piano. I still need to find a way to hide the cord from one of them. We've been rearranging the interior storage to make space for additional personal and functional items we'll want along as we travel the highways and explore our great and diverse nation. As space was not at a premium before this, we'd not been particularly careful as to what went where or how much space it took up.
There's a lot of 'little things' that you either need, or want done when your RV is about to become your home.

Well, I've had my Fantastic Fan for 3 1/2 years...waiting to get it installed. I finally did it this weekend and after doing one before this- I know why I procrastinated. I'm still sore after three days but enjoying the fan.

Let's see. Two cans of color correct spray paint, one spray can of clear coat and a green scrubbie. All to correct the peeling paint on the front nose of the motorhome. Job done, looks great!

I just installed a home theater system in my 1983 Jamboree. Sounds great.
