A good dump hose.. they somehow don't last as long as I'd like.

The Griswalds

Had a week [moderator edit]with the Griswalds RV next to us. Had four kids all with bikes, and one in particular hyperactive kid. My sewer drain hose was good, but came back one evening and it was "re arranged". I suspect one of the Griswald kids ran over it with their bike and the parent tried to straighten it out. Never thought much of it until next dump, yep, about 2/3 of the way to the dump connection, old faithful. Had to buy a new one.

Just a Comment I ordered a new one of these in July when they were on sale for $49.95, seems the order never went thru. So on the 8th of August I called CW Cust. Service. They placed the order again I get all of my other items. A week or so ago, they said the item was back ordered, and it would ship on 12Sep11, I was looking at their web site now they say that my order is back ordered until 29Sep11.
When I called a questioned this their customer service person was rude.

Any way I call a company called RV-ToyOutlet about 45min. ago I asked if they had the item in stock because it was on their web site. The young man says he carries it but they special order it from their Distributor. So he checks with the company he gets it from, he said that he would ship it to me tomorrow afternoon. I would get by Thursday. It will be shipping it by U.S. Priority Mail.

CW has it for $59.99 or $66.00 if you don't belong, I can buy it for $69.00 from RV-ToyOutlet. and have it in 2 days for $10.75 USPS Priority Mail.

So if you want something for your RV there are a lot of place cheaper than CW.
I will probably get flamed for this post or it will be removed but I had to vent.
Sorry for the rant, I won't buy from CW anymore. There is a little mom and pop RV supply by my house that gives a lot better customer service than CW ever did. I guess maybe I will go there from now on. I asked the man at the local shop and said he could order it but it would take about 10 working days. So from now on I guess he will get my business he and his wife, know what customer service means a lot more than CW.

I posted this on another well known RV forum. It will probably be delted so I had to vent and also post what I bought for my RV today.

Would suggest never say never and take it with a grain of salt. Life is too short and death too permanent. I've had both good service and bad service, good prices and bad prices from CW as well as other suppliers. If there is a next time and you're unhappy, call in and ask for a manager , I've met some nice people doing that.

Well, guess there are two more things I can add to my last purchase.. do we ever finish? Just purchased the Air-Lift kid for my W22 chassis.. and also purchased the Hawk Head TPMS for 10 wheels. Guess it's only money.. kinda like my salmon fishing boat.. a big hole in the ocean that I was forced to pour $$$ into.
