This was less than the Fantastic Fan would cost and it performed triple-duty... range hood exhaust, an exhaust fan, plus a bright LED light and night light. (I guess that would be four functions :-)

I know they said in the session that after the Fantastic business was sold to Atwood a few years ago after Larry's brother Steve passed, that Larry and some of the other former employees started the Fabulous Range Vent operation.

They said they planned to vend at other rallies. Yes, they are now ready to sell to consumers.
I sure like the vent. I guess I was one of the first to purchase one. I like it! It vents much quieter than my original, esp on the low 'cooking' vent speed. On high it is louder than on low (not as loud as the original tho) and does a good job of exhausting our rig. Both the vent and light work off the battery.
That is all I know. Again here is the website, email and phone number. You could call and ask them specifics. I'm just a satisfied customer telling my experience. :-)

Since they are just getting this hood vent upgrade to market, this is the only vendor so far: Fantastic Vent RV Vent FanĀ* Adohen Supply
I did email them and they offered the same deal you got if I would document my installation. My wife declined.

What was the last thing you bought for your RV ?

Since I have done the testing to back up this statement, I can flatly say that if the Jack performs better than the Batwing, with or with out the Wingman, then your Batwing is broken, and that seems to happen allot. While the Jack seems to be a good antenna, it really is not in the same class as the Batwing that could be considered the deep fringe antenna of the RV market and a much better performer on VHF.

It was missing the chrome door ring and the timer was sticking. I said I'd take it for $200. I found a door on line and ordered it for $100. I went to get the washer today and they sold it yesterday. They had put my name on it but the wind blew the tag away and another sales guy sold it. They told me to bring the door in and my receipt and they would pay me for the door I had ordered. I was a bit PO'd but it was nice they offered to take care of my expenses.

A half hour later, they phoned me and asked if I would be interested in a 1 year old Splendide 2100XC that was used twice. I said uh....yes! He said a guy just came in with a newer 5th wheel and wanted to have the washer pulled out to make room for more storage. He asked me what I would pay. I said I'd be willing to pay $300. He called me back 10 minutes later and said "It's yours And we'll still pay you for the door you ordered"!

I checked on line, price for this unit was $1520 CAD plus tax. Good score!
Wow! I'd say you scored nicely!! Good deal!

SCFJeff, your are entirely correct. Wish I'd stuck with the batwing!

Purchased the bushings off E-Bay for the Ford F53 sway-bars and FINALLY put the front in last night. Was a little disapointed that the front bushings didn't have more wear. In fact they looked pretty good, just not the pretty blue of the new ones. :-)
I know the back ones are bad and working up the courage to do them (arthritic hands..eerr!).
