Just got home from 5,000 plus mile summer trip and lots of maintenance. Gen fuel pump and air filter, engine air filter, bay door strut mounting brackets and special plates to mount them on, 7 qts of oil and filter. And the big one - a custom capt's chair base modification - moved mounting base back almost three inches. Now I can stand up to get out of chair!!!

Back to the store for more supplies.
Sandpaper: 20 sheets each of 400, 600 and 800 grit wet/dry.
High-Fill primer for the dolly fenders.
Self-etch primer for the rock chips. Touch-up on the rv.
Short hair kitty fiber mud (body work - yes, it's real stuff)
Rust converter for under side of dolly fenders.
Still need paint and clear to finish the job!

Just got a side of well aged local beef. You supply the beer and heat, I'll bring the steaks!

I purchased a Valterra SS01 sewer solution on Amazon Prime. No more stinky slinky! Can't wait to use it. I will have it in 2 days. Yea!

I've seen both. In my humble opinion I think you should head west young man.

I purchased and installed the 5000 watt cheap heat system in 2010. I'm saving my pennies for a 50 amp surge protector, one that is built in. Then after that my next project will be solar power. I have about ten years till retirement, so I got time!!

Been there, 27 years, and done just that!
Now after 15 years there are three neighbors within a mile and no signs of slowing down. May have to talk DW into Alaska!

Actually if I go over the last month or so; A Sunpro Mfg zip-on sunshade, 4 new Maxxis M8008 tires, the TST 507 TPMS System with internal sensors, Valterra SS01 Sewer Solutions, 4 sets of hose quick connect couplers, hose splitter, 50ft pocket hose, Camco 45degree clear elbow and a real paper road atlas (didn't know they still made them). It never ends, but it's gotta slow down. Doesn't even include the purchases for the 1 ton dually.

Just finished up with a mail order to CW for Dominator replacement sewer hoses and gaskets. Got a two and a 10 footer. Last trip, I noticed a small pinhole leak in a hose and a leak in the gasket to the clear view attachment. The feed through hole in the wet bay is just a bit small for the Dominator hose, so thought I'd invest in the two footer as it's easier to work the shorter hose through. I'm with you on the atlas. In spite of using Google Maps and the soon to be terminated MS Streets and Trips, we also like having a hard copy atlas. We normally pick them up at various Walmart stores and once at a Walgreen's Drugs.
