Bought a solar powered, LED motion detection light that I'm going to mount on the lp cover so it lights up when we walk up to the front so we don't walk into the tongue and bang up our shins.

Two 1/4" Stainless Steel carraige bolts and nuts to put the marker lights back on car dolley.

Went to Camping World to get new 1/2" bolts for our reciever hitch. The guy went in the back and pulled out 6 brand new ones. Extras from an installation kit. Gave them to me for FREE. My lucky day!

A new Discovery 40e... I wish. .. We saw one at Hershey and had to to drag my wife out of it practically kicking and screaming! All kidding aside all I bought at the show were some cheap leds (that work really well) but I have a feeling the Discovery 40e will be coming in in 2-3 years to replace our aging Southwind

Progressive Industries EMS

At last I purchased a EMS-HW30C circuit protection for my Winne'. The unit arrived and the install was quick and simple until I discovered the remote display was not in the box . Now not sure if I can run it without the display or should uninstall the unit until I can get the missing part issue resolved. Nothing is ever easy.
Does anyone know if simply protecting the shore power circuit is correct or should I also protect the generator and shore power. Looks like it could be wired either way, just not sure if there is an advantage of doing both.

Adventures in RVing are truly adventures.

I don't feel bad one bit.

We took the MH for a drive today to slosh around the bleach mixture in the fresh water tank.
Some how we ended up at a MH Sales/parts store and we went in to look to get a new filter/strainer for the Fresh water line and some other items.
On one of the shelves were a few stacks of Bilstiens shocks (I wanted Konis but $$$) they were marked 2 @ $48.00 ea. or $96.00 Great price (Ive been looking for over a year now)
When we got home we realized that the gal rang them up at $48.00 for 2.
I wish they would have had the rear shocks but I am very happy with the fronts at that price

Nope don't feel bad at all. I have been paying outrageous prices for the last 4 years since we bought the old gal...
So we got them and a few other needs.
Tim

Tim,

I hope you like your Bilsteins. I had a set on the front of out coach that I felt were worthless. Replaced them with Koni FSD's. I was right. Expensive but you soon forget the cost with the major improvement in ride.

Last things: I bought were:

2 outdoor lanterns and put battery operated lights in them for outdoors
2 cake plates with covers at Dollar Tree ( works good to put food in for serving while camping and has cover to keep bugs out.)
zebra print runner rug ( doesn't show stuff as bad)
Dollar Tree steak knives
Bread box at Hobby

Our RV is on the smaller side. So not alot of cabinet space.

Thanks Jim,
I have heard that they are just under Konis and that's why we went for them. I'll check on Konis for the rear with the $$$ we saved thanks to the gal @ the cashiers we might get them.
Actually I think they are the originals and are shot so I believe they will be a huge improvement.
I had AirLifts 1,000 installed a couple years ago on the front. The rears (with AirLift 5000)went out last spring and will get them replaced under warranty
So overall I think we will be very happy with them until I can get Koni's.
We get them installed next week. I can't wait,
Next will be new rubber all the way around, Please don't ask how old those are.
Have a great day, Tim

Glad too hear that was your problem, I replaced ours on the 82 and it wasn't the problem so we are in the process of trying to get the Gennie out (on slide tray) but have to remove the exhaust to get it to slide out to get the carb off and have it rebuild. I am hoping that will fix ours.
