Have you had a chance to use it yet?
Does it kink when fully extended? Does it carrier the same amount of water as a regular garden hose?
Thanks, Tim

My wife and I had a few of the ones designed for gardening. We found they worked but were prone to too much cobbling and we spent an inordinate amount of time untangling them after each use. We ended up giving them away. Caveat--> This was about 8 years ago and there may be design improvements since then.

two self tapping screws to replace the ones that were sheared off by Thor's over enthusiastic worker. The right side of the engine cover was only supported by the lock.
Rolls Royce prices, junk yard mechanic.

What was the last thing you bought for your RV ?

New marker light bulb for the tow dolly, while on the road.

A Garmin RV 760 LMT to replace the Garmin 2555LMT in the car...too tough to move from one vehicle to the next. Looking forward to giving it a road test.......soon as the weather cooperates....UGH!
Also, bought a new lock mechanism for the gas fill door...and installed it...cold fingers and all.

We're getting ready for a 10 week, 3,500 mile trip - some work related, some fun/travel related - so I've been getting the RV ready and buying a few new things:

- Progressive Industries EMSHW50C. This is something I should have bought 4 years ago when we got the RV
- New jack pads
- New breakaway controller for our car trailer
- Pleated shade repair kit

I also dropped the RV off at my friends shop so that we can get some work done against our "Extended service plan". We'll see how that goes for warranty work for:

- replacing our noisy jack reservoir/motor assembly
- fixing/replacing our steps/step motor/controller as our steps don't go in and out all the way without some help
- working on our Onan 5500 generator that this past month started throwing an error 41 ... and yes we do use the generator a LOT and run it under load every month
- working on our dash a/c that no longer blows very cold.

I am not the original poster, but I have been using a coil hose for about a year now and love it. I actually have two of them with quick-disconnects. There is also a quick disconnect on the RV. Click and it's on. Click and it's off.

The two sections of coiled hose go into a standard 5 gallon bucket as easy as can be. No coiling necessary. And it does not get stiff in cold weather!

I attached a 3 foot section of straight hose with a pressure regulator in between. It is always attached. I just screw the straight section to the hose bib - I never forget the pressure regulator - coming or going.

Thank you for the reply. I will look into further. I have those quick disconnects on everywhere that one could be used. I also have a short maybe 6" in piece of garden hose with a spring on it to prevent it from kinking. I also use a adapter that is at a 90 degree to prevent the hose from kinking at the MH Filler Tube.
I have my 50 ft water hose and before it hooks to the MH I run a inline filter and then my pressure regulator and then hook it to the 90 degree. I too have not forgot it yet.
Have a nice Sunday,
Tim

Bought a new Fuseable Link for my rear heater. It now works again, what a simple fix for a change.
Next is figuring out what happen to my electric step, it went out on a blink while Up Northern MN back in February.

Oh where to start. Just home from almost 8 weeks in the sunny south. Upgraded our lawn chairs to 2 zero gravity recliners. Picked up a directional antenna to replace the omnidirectional unit on the motorhome that we never have much luck with. New vent cap. Lots of small kitchen goodies. So much more choice and selection south of the border.
