CB very handy.
I have a portable handheld cb I keep in my tow vehicle. I like it when traffic gets backed up. The truckers let me know if I can get off and around stalled traffic. Also, still good as a backup in areas without cells service for emergencies.

The two month spending frenzy we've been on since taking possession of our new (to us!) coach has pretty much come to an end. This weekend's purchases consisted of a 2nd monitor for my laptop (I'm an IT worker who works from home ... and now, from the coach) ... and four $5 packages of museum putty.

Just installed Trav'ler Directv dish on our old coach. Probably stupid to put a $1500 dish on a 21 year old coach, but just pulled into Grand Canyon Railroad RV park and had TV going in 5 minutes. Of course, we are parked next to a Provst and all kinds of new, spiffy coaches. At least we didn't embarrass ourselves with DW yelling out the window, "65, 75, 80, 95 . . Oh, s***, you lost it." As I struggled with our old dish on a tripod in 30 mph winds.

What?! Only two months? My spending frenzy began in February (even before I took possession of my new MH) and (somewhat) ended in May.
But, I must admit, it was fun!

Due to forum rules I can't tell you about our "spending frenzy"!

Ordered a set of Sun Shades. These go on the outside and will help keep the heat out. Called them (rv toystore) direct and they matched the sale price that amazon had. Includes free shipping $267. total for 3 pieces, wiper cover and travel bag. Can't wait till they arrive...also added rush order at no additional charge.

New M&G braking system installed in Jeep Wrangler yesterday. Will post install pics on a separate thread soon, as I took photos during the installation.
