Bought led bulbs to replace all of the lamps and chandelier bulbs and the one over the stove top. Our new unit had leds, but our used one did not. Makes a big difference.

Pre-vacation inspection, air filter, oil change, etc.
At 4,000 miles, it almost seemed like "baby's first haircut."

Picked up some LED bulbs for most of the interior lights. Nice bright light, and a lot less energy consumption! Now to do the outside lights, and continue working on cleaning up the camper.
LED on left, incandescant on right.

For our recently (April 15th) acquired 2000 39Z DP this week we added:
Tire pressure monitor
New front tires (with 1115 and 1215 date codes, gotta love it)
Wireless fridge/freezer monitor
Sleeper couch replacement. Replaced the factory "hideaway apartment style" couch/torture device, which was also too short and narrow for napping in the couch configuration .... . It had a separate, lumpy, coil spring, 3" mattress with sleeping position oriented head on drivers side and feet on passenger side, and it couldn't be opened with slide closed.
The 76" replacement unit sleeps two with persons parallel to direction of travel and allows usage with slide closed, and feet don't hang over arm and go to sleep when napping in the couch mode. Have tested "napping mode" and found it cushy and a 5'-10" person (that's me) can stretch out between the arms with a little room to spare. Money VERY well spent. (recliner is next)
Replaced all interior light bulbs with LED 1146 replacements.
A few weeks ago:
We replaced the CRT type TV's with a 32" flat panel for the front and a 24" for the rear. The rear 24" TV (Jensen) operates from 12vdc for boondocking without genset if desired.
I added a "Scanguage D" monitor.
Replaced all broken "luggage door stops" (FW pn# 329919) so they now all close without interfering with each other.
Replaced two luggage door gas struts so they no longer conk me on the head.
Bought purpose built "helper ladder" that helps me reach that first 4 feet to the roof ladder. It stores perfectly in the screen bottomed compartment between the radiator and "rear bumper"
Rick
