A 4 c.f. fridge may draw 6 or 7 amps at 12 volts.( my 7.5 c.f. draws 9 ). If it runs 50% of the time and he has 110 AH usable, that works out to over 24 hours on 2, 220 AH gc2, 6 volt batteries.
55 AH total. Two in series. Check current draw on refer. Mine uses 12 amps. Not all the same just because its 4 cu ft. It's not the inverter, they all work pretty much the same.

10 LED lights, have bought 40 so far and still have another 25 to go for the interior, then I can start on the bays!
New RF Mogul Eagle ER-1 controller to replace the burned out MotoSat controller. Waiting for delivery now, supposed to be between 9:30 and 12:00 today and it's 10:37 now
MCD motor. Had one quit and they say it's the gears that stripped as the motor still runs. That should be here this week.

Bought and installed a King Jack OA8200 TV Antenna to replace the Bat Wing that was not working. Works Great!! We went to the La Mesa RV Show in Sacramento last Friday and I noticed that all the new MH's had that antenna on them as the new standard antenna

The last thing I bought for our coach were a couple of National oil bath axle seals for my tag axle.

The last thing I bought was six Firestone FS560 , 14 ply, 245 - 70R 19.5 tires, all spin balanced. Amazingly one didn't need any weights. Old tires were 6-1/2 yr. old Goodyears, and I could really tell the difference driving it home.

ok I have a vissani 4.5 cu frig rated according to the label at 1.2 amps and 120 watts my battery bank consists of 2 6v Trojan t105's connected in series rated at 225 ah after reading twinboat's post I checked the no load amp draw of both inverters and found the 1500w inverter draw was 4 amps and the 800w inverter was 0.8 amps. when I installed the frig I had the 800w amp I started my test with nothing running but the frig of and battery voltage tested at 12.5 I allowed it to run until the inverted shut down and that was 25 hours later prior to that I let it run for 19 hours and I turned it off but it was still running when I turned it off so there's no doubt that difference in amp draw of the inverters is the issue

Exactly what I found 4 years ago. The 4 amp draw, cheap inverter is now stored as a backup to a Xantrex PS 2000 unit, with <.5 draw.

well I am going to purchase another inverter but I've since put the 800 back in for now right now I'm building a solar system I just purchased a 100w solar kit just to configure the system into the rv and my funds are limited. my next purchase will be an mppt controller and then to more 100w panels I'm hoping 300w of solar will maintain the batteries I'm trying for as less generator use as possible

New Michelin tires for the Tow vehicle, and a new tube for the stinky slinky since I bottomed the trailer on a steep road. :(

We have all LED lights, (except vanity) two 50 watt, and one100W solar panels on the roof now and can go a full week without running the generator. I have 2 more 100W solar panels I got on sale last spring and haven't gotten around to installing. I have two 12V and a paired set of 6V for house batteries. I also run our fridge on propane when boondocking.

I've noticed a lot of rigs are coming standard with residential fridges, so how do you boondock with those monsters?

I'm guessing, either they don't or they've got an entire bay allocated to batteries.
