Good idea, I have LED lights that I'm going to hook up on the rear of mine. I was thinking of just tying in to the reverse lights, but I like your idea better - think I'll go that route.

Yesterday I bought the second flat disc shaped LED to fix a burned out light. The lesson......I bought the first one off Amazon, it "looked like" the one I needed. Plugged it in looked fine; turned it off, and went to bed. Got up for the late night bathroom call, and it was glowing. Turned the switch on, it came on, like the other 5 in that circuit, turned it off, and a few minutes it glowed.

Yesterday found a booth with lots of RV lights at a big flea market here in the Rio Grande Valley. Showed the guy my burned out light, and my "glow" light. He pointed on the back and the components were different. Sold me one with the components looking like the old one. I'm happy to report it worked as it should.

Point....these led lights are really nice, but when they go out, be very careful with your replacement. I wasted $20.00.

If it's less than 30 days old (the order of that light), contact Amazon and initiate a refund based on it not being a compatible replacement.

What did they do to you? My loan ended up at Santander (didn't start there) and never had a problem. Just wondering.

Just ordered a 5 star tuning programmer for 2014 Itasca on a F53 chassis. Programed specifically for RV's and the Ford V10 6.8L for better performance and smoother shifting.

So did our RV loan after it was sold by the original finance company.

2 10 year lithium battery CO and smoke detectors. The old ones are 6 years old and call for replacing after 6.

A new roof

Just picked it up from RV repair facility. The roof is basically the same material used for truck bed liners. They took the roof down to the plywood, filled, and sprayed. It looks great, and a good replacement for a rubber roof which hadn't been touched in 18 years by previous owner. If I had not had to replace some vents and covers, it would have been a little under $4,000.

Very happy with it.

Just bought a Nature's Head composting toilet for our boondockified Winnebago, no more black tank, yeah!!

Now both black and gray tanks will be used for gray water only, awesome!!

Beware the sticker shock, ouch!

Curious, how often do you have to empty it? Does the waste go in the trash, or is it safe for the landscape?
